Research shows that perfectionism puts people at a higher risk of depression, anxiety, addiction, feeling stuck in life and missed opportunities.
I know that that's not what you want for you or your children.
But it's not enough to try and teach your children differently. As I learned from Brene Brown’s audio series, the “The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting,” we will pass on the heavy burden of perfectionism to our children as long as we are still wrestling with this demon ourselves.
Perfectionism prevents you and your children from living authentically and in your full power but this doesn't have to be your legacy.
Imagine having the tools to begin to free yourself and your children.
Imagine the time and energy freed up from no longer worrying about having to do everything perfectly.
Imagine the opportunities opening up as you learn to let go of the fear of failure and not being good enough.

Imagine the increased confidence available as you learn to stop comparing yourself to others.
Instead of procrastinating and silencing your truth, imagine the possibilities letting go of perfectionism can open up for you and your family.
Instead of feeling isolated and paralyzed in self-doubt, imagine the positive ripple effects of sharing your true self and gifts with the world.

I know you are busy and you don’t need more work to do. But I also know many women are on the verge of burnout from the Pandemic and these practices can help.
After twenty years in the mental health field, specializing in anxiety and healthy relationships, 15 years as a mama, 5 years immersed in the world of coaching and energy healing, I’m on a mission to liberate caregivers, creatives, helpers and healers from perfectionism and the pressure to do it all.
As a recovering perfectionist, I know it's not easy to break free of perfectionism's tight grip. I still remember the nauseous feeling twenty years ago from pushing myself to colour outside of the lines and I still get sweaty when I do public speaking or hit submit on an article. But I'm doing it anyways and teaching my children and clients that done is better than perfect and that we are all works in progress.
I'm honoured to share with you what I've learned and have applied personally and with clients.
